The CWC has many individuals that contribute to the program of making tomorrow's champions. Without these great people the club would not be able to help so many kids, adults, and parents in learning about wrestling sportsmanship, character building and hard work. CWC attempts to teach young people the challenges of the sport and promoting friendly competition between similar age groups and weight classes.
ANDY TREVINO
Andy is in his fourth year as the head wresting coach for Chesterton High School. He was an assistant coach for Calumet High School for 15 years and coached at East Chicago Central and Lake Central prior to his time at Calumet. Andy has also coached at Region Wrestling Academy. Andy was an undefeated IHSAA State Champion at Calumet, and a two-time Fargo Freestyle All-American. He wrestled for Indiana University, where he was a team captain, and a 2-time NCAA qualifier.
BRIAN BOLIN
A product of the Chesterton Wrestling Club, Brian is the veteran coach of the club. Thought to light to wrestle in high school, he pursued his wrestling career competing in various Armed Forces tournaments which won him a reserve invitation to the All- Marine Wrestling Team in 1995 which he declined due to other duty assignments. Prior to coaching for the CWC, he assisted with the Downers Grove, IL youth wrestling club. Brian has been member of the CHS wrestling staff since 2017.
EDDIE WINELAND
Another product of the Chesterton Wrestling Club and CHS Wrestling team, Eddie used his wrestling background to develop a very successful MMA career. He is the former WEC bantamweight champion and has fought for the UFC bantamweight title. Eddie is in his fifth year coaching with the CWC and looks to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of Trojan wrestlers.
SCOTT MUNDELL
Scott has been a volunteer coach for Chesterton High School since 2017. He was an undefeated IHSAA State Champion at Merrillville High School and won multiple Indiana Freestyle state titles. Prior to coming to Chesterton, he was an assistant coach at Portage High School for 11 years. He is in his sixth year coaching with the CWC.
JOSH MILLER
Josh is one of two new addition to the staff and brings a wealth of experience to the club. Josh was an assistant coach at Lake Central High School for 4 years and coached their Indian kids wrestling club for 3 years. He has 25 years of wrestling and grappling experience, and is a 2nd degree Brazilian jujitsu brown belt. Josh also has two young wrestlers in the club.
JASON DUDLEY
Jason is another new addition to the staff and also brings a wealth of experience to the club. Jason was a 4-year varsity wrestler and state qualifier for the tough Portage teams of the 1990’s. Jason coached at Willowcreek Middle School for 5 years, including 3 as the Head Coach. He has been heavily involved in the wrestling community for many years both on and off the mat.
KEITH DAVISON
Keith is a coach for the Chesterton Wrestling Club and assistant for Chesterton High School’s wrestling team. A product of the Chesterton wrestling program where he was a two-time IHSAA State Champion and freestyle Jr. National runner-up. Keith continued his career at The University of Wisconsin where he was a Big Ten Champion, a two-time NCAA All-American and a freestyle University Nationals Champion. In 2003 he was inducted to the IHSWCA Hall of Fame and in 2014 selected as ISWA’s Kid’s Coach of the Year.
